Due to Brooklyn House being so close to, Carlisle City Centre we are very easy to find. When in Carlisle you should be on one of the three major roads listed below, from any of these roads the path to Brooklyn House is not too dificult. Notice bold writing this indicates key places, which you should head for, look for sign posts about and ask where they are if needing to ask someone. You always should head for Hardwick Circus, The Sand Centre or Carlisle College if you get terribly lost then don't hesitate to ring us for one-to-one personal gudiance. Warning do not turn off any major roads, after that Carlisle becomes a maze of traffic co-ordination. |

1) Warwick Road:
Arriving from North/South |
2) Wigton Road: Arrival from the East Follow this towards Carlisle Castle travelling on Castle Way this eventually ends up at Hardwick Circuis. If you pass Mcvities nearby is Europcar this is the correct road. When reaching the roundabout head South, please note do not cross over the Eden River if comming from this direction, you pass Wickes DIY store, follow Georgian Way we reside on the corner, when the dual carriage way turns left. | By Rail: Carlisle Station the Citedal The railway station is a 5-10 minute walk to and from Brookly House. After leaving the station head towards the Lakes Court Hotel which should be on your right. At the pelican crossing, cross over the road and continue around The Crescent (keeping the statue on your left), and turn right onto Warwick Road. Continue down Warwick Road past the Lonsdale Cinema and General Post Office to the traffic lights and turn left along Spencer Street. Cross over onto the right hand side of the road, and keep walking straight ahead and follow the path round to the right onto Victoria Place. Brooklyn House is 20 yards along this road on your left. |
By Bus: Carlisle Bus Station Brooklyn House is only a 5 minute walk from the bus station. On leaving the bus station turn left (onto Lonsdale Street). Passing thirnhams the stationary shop and also a church to your right. Continue down to the traffic lights and left again along Spencer Street, Cross over onto the opposite side of the road the right hand side, and keep walking straight ahead then follow the path round to the right onto Victoria Place. Brooklyn House is 20 yards along this road on your left. |
